This is a nice civil war short sword that i believe is confederate,it is pictured in the american sword book by norm flayderman and stuart mowbray on page 28,It is in excellent condition with the scabbard,there are numbers and markings on the blade,it also looks like an anchor on the brass just above the blade ,A great piece from a local estate collection,i am listing a few more from the same collection,I will ship overseas for 100.00
